EASY STEPS TO CREATE LOMOGRAPHY EFFECT

At this Photoshop tutorial we will learn how to turn an ordinary digital image into Lomography effect.

This is a photo we will use.














Here the image will look like.


Here are the steps we will do.


STEP 1
Open the file you want converted into lomo effect using Photoshop. Then duplicate the background layer by pressing Ctrl + J and now we get Layer 1.















STEP 2

Perform the color setting to bring up the Lomo color. Use the Curve features that can be raised by pressing Ctrl + M or you can find this feature on the tab bar at the top of the screen (Image + adjustments) as shown below.










Do the settings as shown below:

Channel Red :



















Channel Green :




















Channel Blue :




















Then press OK to close the window.

Now we've got lomo color.

STEP 3

The next stage is to get the dark effect on the corners of the image as well as the images when using lomo camera.

Duplicate Layer 1 by pressing Ctrl + J.

 













Then do the Gradient Overlay with the settings as follows:




























 If the settings are done, press OK to close the setting screen.

Now we've got dark effects on photo corners.

STEP 4

Next we will describe the center of the image that had become darker due to Gradient Overlay settings. We will perform masking at Layer 1 Copy. Click the add layer mask layer is below the window.













Then we remove the center of the image using the Brush so that the center of the image becomes brighter.








You can swap the brush several times to have better result as you want.
